NW Yoga & Wellness is an intimate and inclusive space dedicated to the development of curious and diligent students of movement, stillness and community practices.  We offer broad levels of experience and abilities, informed by ancient traditions and contemporary research.

Yoga Therapy


Although all yoga is potentially therapeutic and healing, yoga therapy is the specific application of yogic tools-postures/exercises, breathwork, meditation techniques, and more-to address an individual's physical, mental, and emotional needs. Many people first learn about yoga through its physical practices, but a common misconception is that the discipline is all about stretching or movement. In fact, yoga therapy can help people who can't move at all, as well as active individuals!

At NW Yoga & Wellness our group classes are taught by a diverse group of independent, experienced, crew of teachers from many different traditions of yoga and movement backgrounds. Our schedule consists of Therapeutic Yoga, Alignment-based Yoga, Flow Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Beginner Yoga, Yoga Nidra Meditation &  Restorative Yoga. Therapeutic Yoga w/ Debra Wolfe

Therapeutic Yoga is for those seeking personalized guidance to overcome their physical challenges, no matter what illnesses, injuries or structural anomalies may be present. This class offers alignment-based (Iyengar inspired) yoga, Yoga Therapy, the use of yoga props and The Great Yoga Wall. It is taught by a Debra Wolfe, a certified Yoga Therapist with a workshop feel, allowing for open dialog between the students and teacher. The focus is to restore balance. Students receive individualized instruction that is not possible in a typical yoga class setting. Students are taught more complex alignment concepts to work with their particular bodies.  All Levels

Alignment-Based Yoga w/ Debra Wolfe

This class blends the alignment focus of Iyengar yoga and the heating work of vinyasa with therapeutic yoga techniques. Each session begins with a thorough warm-up, including 12 Tibetan Rites (yoga “calisthenics”) and 12 Sun Salutations. The remainder of each class addresses the specific needs of students in attendance. Class sequences involve the use of props as well as The Great Yoga Wall. These tools help students access proper alignment in the poses in order to strengthen, lengthen and relieve tension in the hips, shoulders and hamstrings.

Private Yoga Sesson

1 Hour Private Yoga Sessions w/ Debra Wolfe, certified Yoga Therapist

Private yoga sessions are catered to each student’s unique physical needs and goals. 

Offered for:

individuals who want to deepen or accelerate their practice

individuals who have specific needs for healing and recovery

small groups (2 to 3 students)

Private yoga classes include;

• 15 min health assessment (usually only required first session)

•  1 hour private yoga practice

•  Follow-up contact

•  $85 an hour
